Man, this is NOT an easy job. Especially since the 3 year old is so incredibly 3 and is somewhat spoiled rotten. He doesn't like my rules. He cries when Stella takes a toy away. And it's quite obvious that he's used to getting his way. Boy he's gonna have a rude awakening when his little brother gets a bit older. :)
Today I made him eat lunch without a toy at the table. He refused to listen and kept getting up to get the toy...so I had to take tv and the toy away too. He wouldn't eat his lunch because he said he wanted a sandwich after he told me that he wanted Mac & cheese and hotdogs. I made the Mac & cheese and he changed his mind. Of course I didn't make a whole new lunch and he wasn't too happy with me. He said he didn't want to ever come back to my house and that he didn't love Stella. hahahah 3. I told him that if he wasn't a good boy and he didn't eat his lunch that after naptime he couldn't have any cake. He started crying and finally sat back down and ate part of my sandwich and some sweet potatoes.
Stella is really adjusting too. She is going through the biting stage and has bit Fernando 3 times already. She doesn't break the skin or anything but I know she hurts him! Poor guy. Of course I have to discipline her and I don't really know how since she's only 18 months! So I put her in her room for 10 minutes so I could take care of baby Fern.
and I want another one. psycho.
